These free, interactive Rates Dashboards are designed to assist utility managers and local officials analyze residential water and wastewater rates against multiple characteristics, including:
The Rates Dashboards are tools designed and produced by the Environmental Finance Center as part of projects to annually survey and analyze rates data from different states. Rates data are collected from approximately 85-90% of all local governments and non-profit utilities in most of these states. Other products from the rates analyses include annual reports and tables of rates across the state, and copies of the hundreds of rate sheets analyzed. All of this information is provided free of charge on our website. The rates surveys are conducted in partnership with state agencies in different states. You will need Adobe Flash Player 9 or later to view these dashboards.
_____________________________________________________ Rates Dashboard Tutorial (The video) In the following tutorial, EFC staff will walk you through using the Water Services dashboard. The instructions can be applied to both the NC and GA dashboard. The VA and SC Rates Dashboards also work in the same way, but has a few different tools. You may watch each section consecutively for an overview of the entire tool, or select a particular aspect of the dashboard that you want to know more about. Each video runs between 1 and 2 minutes.
